Notice for network users at dorms

Connecting your computer to Harcov dorm network makes it a part of LIANE university network as well as of world-wide Internet. This, apart from obvious advantages of connectivity, brings about certain responsibility. The same rules of conduct, which you are obliged to comply with, apply here as in the whole network. In particular, keep the following in mind:

• You are responsible for the operation of your computer. We recommend that you make sure that it is secured from unauthorized use. If you are using an operating system that does not require user authorization, protect your machine against running by a password in the BIOS. - You may not provide access to the university network or the Internet to a third party who is not an employee or student of TU in Liberec.
• Keep off software piracy and copyright infringement.
• It is forbidden to operate any servers of any services (WWW, FTP, chat and others) on the campus, without prior written LIANE management's consent.
• Please note that all data transmissions in the network are monitored and evaluated within the statistical monitoring of the CESNET2 network.
