User portal TUL

LIANE users can manage their accounts in the university network through the User Portal. Although one must visit in person the LIANE administration office or the relevant academic department to reset a forgotten password, all other account management tasks can be performed electronically through the User Portal.

To use the User Portal, you need to know

• the address
• your LIANE username (typically firstname.lastname)
• your LIANE password (note: this is a different password than the one you use for Wi-Fi or VPN)

What does the portal enable you to do?

• change your central password (LIANE)
• enter your phone number to be able to change your password through SMS (instructions)
• change your password for remote access (Wi-Fi, VPN)
• configure email delivery (including setting up email forwarding to your personal email address)
• set up an out-of-office message to notify email senders of your absence (vacation, study break)
